Terms of service

1. About us
This website is operated by CASC Whisky Ltd, an authorised UK importer of Pōkeno Whisky. We are a company registered in Scotland (company number SC801677) with our registered office at Bearford House, 39/2 Hanover St, Edinburgh, EH2 2PJ, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is 516831784. You can contact us at info@cascwhisky.com.
These terms apply to every order you place on this website. Please read them before ordering. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
2. Age restriction
We only sell alcohol to people aged 18 or over. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 and that the person receiving the delivery will also be at least 18. It is an offence for anyone under 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol, and for anyone to buy alcohol on behalf of someone under 18. We may ask for proof of age, and we or our delivery partner may refuse to hand over an order if we are not satisfied that the recipient is 18 or over. We may cancel any order where we reasonably suspect an underage purchase or a purchase made on behalf of someone under 18.
3. Your order and our contract
When you place an order you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. This does not mean your order has been accepted. Our acceptance, and the contract between us, happens when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, if we cannot deliver to your address, or because of the age restriction above. If we decline your order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
Some of our products are limited editions and are available only while stocks last. We may limit the number of bottles per customer or per household.
Pre-orders. Some products, including Ringbearer Single Malt Whisky, are sold on pre-order. For pre-orders, we take full payment when you order, and the contract between us is formed when we email to confirm your order. The expected dispatch date is shown on the product page and in your order confirmation (for Ringbearer Single Malt Whisky, between December 2026 and January 2027). If we expect a delay, we will email you with a new date and you may cancel for a full refund. You can also cancel a pre-order at any time before it is dispatched, and we will refund you in full within 14 days.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT and UK excise duty. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we find that a price was clearly wrong when you ordered, we will contact you before accepting the order.
5. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Delivery details, including charges and estimated timings, are set out in our Delivery policy. An adult aged 18 or over must receive the delivery.
6. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it. Please see our Returns and refunds policy for how to cancel and return items, and for our approach to bottles that have been opened.
7. Faulty or damaged goods
We are legally required to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your order arrives damaged, is faulty or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally with photos. You may be entitled to a refund, a replacement or a repair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and we will cover the cost of returning faulty or incorrect items.
8. Our liability to you
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products. We supply products for domestic and private use only and are not liable for business losses.

11. Changes to these terms
